Medical Students on a Mission

The Dream Team (Left to Right): AJ (Kule) Kambere, Zabrina Kerr, Belineda Bellune, Stanley Senathipathy
SUPPORT OUR UPCOMING MEDICAL MISSION TO WESTERN UGANDA….
We are four third-year medical students from Canada studying at the American University of Anguilla, committed to global health service. One of our team members , AJ Kambere, originally from Uganda and now a long-time resident of Surrey, BC, has deep ties to this mission: Over 23 years ago, AJ’s father founded the Umoja Operation Compassion Society!
From October to November 2025, the Dream Team will travel to Uganda to provide vital health support in the rural regions of
Mbara and Kasese in partnership with Umoja via their international outreach. This initiative is about more than learning—it’s about giving back: Every donation moves us closer to our goal, enabling us to serve, grow as compassionate physicians, and build lasting mutually enriching connections between Canada and global communities.
Our Mission:
1. Help upgrade the Rwentutu Medical Clinic and provide additional resources
2. Facilitate a community health fair
3. Organize a youth sports day to promote wellness
4. Shadow local doctors in Mbara to learn and support care delivery
Supporting this medical mission means making a tangible difference in people’s lives. Your contribution will help bring new equipment and supplies to the Rwentutu Clinic, support the Umoja cafeteria, and strengthen healthcare access for the community.
Please consider contributing to this meaningful cause and follow our journey on Instagram. Donations of $20 and above will duly receive a tax receipt as per CRA requirements.
